HANDBALL
i just came back after playing a hard, tiring, ankle breaking game of handball. coming from the land of five rivers, Punjab, which is a small state in india, i have always wanted to go back and settle there. For now, i am stuck here in the land of five of boroughs, NYC . There are so many things about newyork which can make any person fall in love with this city, the skyscrapers, the yellow cabs buzzing around like bees, the vibrant colors of times square lights, a good game of basketball at the west 4th courts, the ever partying night clubs and discos, the list goes on and on…BUT NONE OF THEM helped me get through the four rough years of high school. The one game which helped me survive high school and my constant family battles was HANDBALL. Something about this game that just attracted me to it. It a simple game , yet when played with heart and desire to beat the other person even though he/she is a much better player than u , it can be rough and excruciatingly tiresome. Nowdays i am all caught up with work, studies, LIFE but whenever i feel the need to take a break from LIFE i grab a handball and just find the nearest handball court.

Wow, handball seems to accelerate time. This posting is dated tomorrow. I will post an important image of handball. It is from a ’social realist’ painter and in the permanent collection at Museum of Modern Art which I saw it last week. It’s your turn to login and view and publish the image I posted for you to see.
